Perfect place for a hot dog on the way

Twas a cold, cold evening on Times Square and the Snack Box was a welcome sight! They took a little while to make our hotdogs, but they were the best! The buns were freshly baked and went so well with dog! The sauces could've been a little better but I'm not complaining. Eating a gorgeous hotdog in the Times Square while seeing it snow! Bucket list, strike another experience off yourself! 😊😊

Truly awful

I came here at 3:30 on a Sunday and the two men working wouldn’t take any orders because they were taking a 15 minute break.. they were literally just sitting behind the counter hanging out eating and refusing to take anyone’s order. So unprofessional, yes you should get a break but you don’t close down the whole place for it.

Was ok. Not bad, not all that. Took pretty long to make 2 dogs and I was only one there. Can’t imagine if it was actually busy.. We got next one at corner vendor. Lot cheaper.

Location has moved to the north of Times Square, location shown on Google Maps is no longer valid (it's now on W 47th/Broadway).Hot Dogs were very good, though pricey. But we came for a 2nd try. My favorite was the "Coney Island Hot Dog". Yummi!

If this is one of the best hot dogs in Times Square, I would hate to see one of the worst. Two employees working with a line of about 6 people and they both kept their backs turned to the customers for almost 5 minutes. I thought they were preparing the order of the couple in front of me until the couple got out of line and walked away. THEY WERE BOTH EATING THEIR LUNCH! Neither one of them even acknowledged the people waiting until they were done. I didn’t get out of line because I had been there for nearly 10 minutes at this point. Ordered a chili cheese dog and a soda once they were finally ready to take an order. My $8 hot dog was barely warm upon taking a bite. Don’t waste your time or money here. This place is gross.

Right in the middle of times Square, this place sells pretty decent hotdogs, certainly not cheap, but what can you expect at this location

The owners are nice, the dogs are excellent and well priced, and their patio is exceptional (Relaxing atmosphere with cool music). I had the corndog and hot dog with egg, bacon, and tater tots. Both were incredible, well cooked, and full of flavor. The batter on the corndog was crunchy which I like so my final verdict on Meea's is I will be back!!

Best hot dog combinations ever! I don't know what all they add in there but it's like peanut butter and chocolate! It's amazing!

Nice idea,clean and pleasant design , but meat and hot dishes were dry ,overcooked, wanting in taste , and as duch overpriced. Salads and vegetables ,as well as dressing, were fine ,fresh and good quality.

Great spot to grab a hot dog! I was really surprised of how good it was. The young man working the stand was very nice and fast. Can't wait to go back.

This is definitely my favorite small food stand! The food is made so quickly and it is delicious! I came at night with four of my friends three of us came for the first time and we all got one hot dog, after quickly devouring the hot dog we went back for seconds! He told me "it will Change your life" and I honestly think it has! Although 40 minutes away from home it's definitely worth the drive!

Delicious. I had the BLT and my wife had the Good Morning... hot dog with bacon, egg and cheese? How can you go wrong? It was really good.

Have gone here in between 12pm and 1p. To get a speciality dog and the toppings were not ready. This has happened on 3 separate occasions!!

The owner Alan is the man! These dawgs are unreal, I totally recommend anyone coming and trying it out. So many options to choose from. The south land is a must try. Period.

Literally the worst and most overpriced hot dog ever + the people working there are super rude and this place doesn’t even deserve half of a star.

The food was a little over priced for what you are getting. Don't get me wrong the food is great but small portions. When I went, it was very busy. The have very few setting and you have costumers hovering over your table just waiting for you to finish eating so they can sit and eat.

Hotdogs right in the middle of time square so you can’t complain about the price if you want cheaper go elsewhere in the city. You’re paying for the location and seating right in front of time square and as far as these all beef hotdogs I can say the “The Brooklyn Classic” dog tastes like the real New York Hotdog

The Times Square HotdogWhat a pleasant quick bite! I usually avoid these like the plague however I was hungry and going back to the hotel and stoped here!Decent warm hotdog, Just shy of $10 but worth it IMO. The hotdog was not like your usually rubbish one full of water! It was decent and well presented :-)Good luck for 2020Many Thanks.

I can't say that they're New York's "best" hot dog, but I wouldn't be surprised. It was amazing. Pickles, sauerkraut, mustard and sauce - what more could you want.

Awesome place to eat at

Such a poor experience. 3 employees who cared more about talking to each other than serving the customer. The food took forever and tasted terrible. Stay away! Also never got a receipt for the purchase.

Willy is the best of the best. Greets you at the door makes u feel like a star. Spicy pastrami is amazing. The best pulled pork fries ever..... ever. Great location and ambiance. Will definitely drive here from any studio to get our fix. The hot chick is an amazing menu item. Best of the best. Will always stop by here.
